Wharf Phase 3 Boardwalk, Shelters and Restroom Facility

Cost estimated: $2.5M to $5M WHARF PHASE 3 BOARDWALK, SHELTERS AND RESTROOM FACILITY The project consists of constructing approximately 500 linear feet of pile supported boardwalk, access ramps, shelters, parking lots, sewerage, water, light poles and an elevated restroom facility. The project address is #1 Van Ness Road, Westwego, LA 70094. The City of Westwego and its partners as the recipients of state funds are fully committed to awarding a contract(s) to firm(s) that will provide high quality services and that are dedicated to diversity and to containing costs. Thus, The City of Westwego encourages the involvement of minority and/or woman-owned business enterprises (DBEs, including MBEs, WBEs and SBEs) to stimulate participation in procurement and assistance programs. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond guaranteeing faithful performance of the contract. Companies providing the bonds shall comply with the requirements of LRS-R.S. 38:2218 and R.S. 38:2219 as applicable. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
