Description

As of August 16, 2022, this is a sources-sought notice which is used by the owner for market survey research only. This is not an actual solicitation. At this time, it is not known if a solicitation has been issued or when construction is anticipated to begin. Closed sources-sought notice has been included below for reference. ............. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. The Air National Guard at Camp Murray WA intends to issue a solicitation and award of a contract to Renovate Fire Alarm Systems. Contractor would be required to: Replace non-Compliant, non-addressable fire alarm control panels (FACP's) with addressable wireless control panels with capability to report to centralized station; Replace existing transceivers with new addressable FACP's; Upgrade buildings with non-addressable components and wiring to be compatible with addressable FACP and centralized system; Install wireless transmitters in FACP's that are compatible with the centralized system; Design new fire alarm system with the ability to integrate into the existing base-wide Mass Notification Warning System (MNWS); The system shall have the ability to integrate into the Mass Notification Warning System (MNWS), and integrate into other existing alarm warning systems (CO2, Freeze Alarms, E-Stop, etc.) to include reporting these system's signals to the centralized control system and Shall be compliant with all NFPA, UL, UFC and ANG ETL standards. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intent to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 21 Aug 2021. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include (1) positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, and (2) a completed and signed Source Sought Information Request Form (add link to form) and (3) A listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location, and Point of Contact are to be included. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor. (4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
