Deer Creek North Pavilion Roof Replacement

DEER CREEK NORTH PAVILION ROOF REPLACEMENT The City of Maplewood is accepting bids for roof replacement for the Deer Creek North Pavilion located at 7830 Edgebrook Road. The City of Maplewood reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. The City of Maplewood is seeking a contractor to furnish all supplies and labor needed to replace the existing North Pavilion roof at Deer Creek Park. Deer Creek Park is located at 7830 Edgebrook Road. o Remove 1 layer of existing roofing down to wood deck and haul away o Clean and prepare the wood roof decking for the new roof o Replace any bad wood where needed at an additional cost. The cost of the replacement would be determined at time of project beginning. o Remove 2 layers of cedar shake fascia and install new wood nailer. Then wrap with new 24 gage kynar, or aluminum fascia. o Install new drip edge and rake flashing. o Apply 1 layer of Ice and Water shield underlayment at gutter edge o Apply 1 layer of new synthetic felt underlayment over remaining exposed deck o Install new architectural shingles over new underlayment using nails o All job debris will be hauled away from the jobsite by the contractor o Any additional work must be addressed in change order request submitted to the City, which will list time and materials needed o Contractor will be responsible for protecting the workspace o Contractor will be responsible to keep the work area as clean and tidy as possible and eliminate any potential hazards o All work will be performed Monday-Friday between the hours of 7 a.m.-4:30 p.m Contact the Public Works Department at telephone number (314) 647-8633 or E-mail: j-watkins@cityofmaplewood.com.
