Description

Catch basin grates, frames and hoods are necessary to collect runoff from the roadway and direct to the storm water collection system. The Charlotte Department of Transportation maintains and installs catch basin grates, Frames and hoods within the rights-of-way to prevent flooding and water ponding on streets. The Department also replaces storm drain grates that are stolen or damaged on an as needed basis.
