Band Replace Sewer and Water System

Project Description: Replace Water and Sewer System. Work includes the following items: a.Water: (1) Installing new 6-inch and 8-inch C900 PVC water distribution piping and hydrant leads along Agoyo Lane; (2) Replacing fire hydrants with auxiliary gate valves (open trench excavation); (3) Replacing and reconnecting water service piping and fittings for the shop, the bunkhouse, and the five RV sites; (4) Tying into the existing water main at the Entrance Road-Agoyo Lane intersection; (5) Removing existing water pipe encountered in new trenches and cap pipe ends along trench walls; and (6) Coordinating with future projects to restore disturbed areas. b.Wastewater: (1) Installing new 4-inch and 6-inch SDR 26 wastewater collection piping from the shop, down Agoyo Lane, to the cul-de-sac where a new lift station will be located (open trench excavation); (2) Replacing and reconnecting wastewater service piping and fittings to the shop, bunkhouse, and five RV sites; (3) Installing a new 6-foot diameter precast concrete lift station with duplex alternating grinder pumps and other appurtenances; (4) Installing new 2-inch HDPE DR 11 sewer force main from new lift station to a new manhole at highpoint. (5) Install new 4” SDR 26 Gravity Sewer Main from new manhole at high point to existing manhole by the Visitor’s Center following the gravity sewer line trench and then new trench along Entrance Road (open trench excavation); and (6) Remove existing wastewater collection pipe encountered in new trenches and cap pipe along trench walls. c.RV Pads and Roadway/Cul-de-sac Improvements: (1) Stripping existing gravel/deteriorated asphalt surfacing, stockpiling, removing asphalt pieces larger than 4-inch in diameter, and replacing salvageable gravel; (2) Stripping existing topsoil, stockpiling, and replacing; (3) Importing and installing new ¾” minus base aggregate for re-grading and surfacing of five RV sites and roadway/cul-de-sac improvements for vehicle turnarounds and for areas within Agoyo Lane with deficient surfacing material. d.Electrical: (1) Remove existing electrical hook-up pedestals at five RV sites; (2) Installing new electrical hook-up pedestals at five RV sites; (3) Installing new panels at existing power poles and storage building; (4) Installing new underground conduit in water and sanitary sewer trenches for future voice/data communication installations; (5) Installing new underground conduit and feeders for RV Site #5 and the lift station. Including a H-frame support system for panels and other equipment mounted near the lift station
