A. Complete replacement of the existing fire alarm system with a new fully addressable fire alarm system at Beering Hall on the Purdue University West Lafayette campus. The new system will include fire door holders, initiating devices, signaling devices, manual devices, automatic devices (smoke/heat detectors), annunciation system, elevator interconnections, interconnection and monitoring of high rise smoke control system, control and annunciator panels as recommended or mandated by local and state building codes, NFPA 72, and Purde University. Existing fire alarm system will be taken down prior to installation of new system, temporary sprinkler monitoring and building safety coordination to be completed by contractor. B. Contract: Construction work under unified fixed price contract
