Westside High School HVAC Testing Adjusting and Balancing Project

The work consists of TAB for the recently completed HVAC renovations at the existing 109,000 SF building at 122 Renegade Way, Clear Fork, WV 24822. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond each in the amount of at least one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. A satisfactory Bid Bond, furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the State of West Virginia, in amount equal to five percent (5%) of bid, must be furnished with each bid. The Bid Bond of the unsuccessful Bidder will be returned when the Award of Contract is made; that of the successful Bidder will be returned when the Contract and Bonds are approved. After the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids, no bid may be withdrawn for at least 60 days. The bid bond shall be forfeited to Wyoming County Schools, as a measure of Liquidated Damages should the Bidder fail or refuse to execute the Contract and furnish the Performance Bond and Labor and Material Bond within ten (10) days after written notification from Wyoming County Schools of Award of Contract to that bidder. The Bidder, if successful and awarded the contract, agrees that all work is to be complete within timeframe listed in the Project Manual. For each calendar day of delay in achieving completion, the Owner may retain liquidated damages in the amount prescribed by the Project Manual.
