Description

Project Includes Savage Rd. - .69 miles, width 20'. Savage Rd. is to be done from the intersection of Savage Road and Claysville Road to the the intersection of Savage Rd, and Colvin Lane. Taylor Rd. - 1.03 miles, width 18'. Taylor Rd. is to be done in it's entirety. Greenbrier Drive - .36 miles, width 18'. Greenbrier Drive is to be done from the intersection of Lois Lane to the intersection of Kadon Drive Item #1 A 2" layer of #304 limestone will be placed on the existing roadways, then a full depth reclamation of 8" to 10" shall be performed. The #304 limestone is to be furnished by the Township, and hauled by the Contractor from National Lime and Stone. The Contractor shall provide all other equipment, labor, materials, and traffic control to complete the project. Item #2 Chip seal prime coat MC-70. To include material (MC-70)applied at an application rate of 0.3 gallons per square yard, equipment and labor to place prime coat on top of reclaimed surface. Cover aggregate to be hauled, placed and rolled by the contractor, and supplied by the Township. The Contractor shall provide all other equipment, labor, materials, and traffic control to complete the project. Item #3 Chip seal seal coat MC-3000. To include material (MC-3000) applied at an application rate of 0.35 gallons per square yard, to place seal coat on top of prime coat. Cover aggregate to be hauled, placed and rolled by the contractor, and supplied by the Township. The Contractor shall provide all other equipment, labor, materials, and traffic control to complete the project. Rollers shall conform with Item 422.03 of the 2019 ODOT CMS manual. Use type II pneumatic tire rollers conforming to 401.13. The board of Trustees reserves the right to waive any technicalities in the bidding, to reject any or all bids, and to enter into a contract with the bidder who, in their consideration, offers the best proposal.
