Description | Work on this contract may include, but is not limited to all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete installation, replacement of fencing, vehicle barriers, vehicle and pedestrian gates, and related work as needed to maintain airfield and aircraft safety as required by FAA regulations in order to maintain efficient airport operations. No verbal answers by any County personnel or its agents and consultants will be binding on the County. Contract Specialist: Leeann Snyder, lsnyder@kingcounty.gov, 206-263-3517 Alternate Contract Specialist: Melissa Jordan, mejordan@kingcounty.gov, 206-263-4005 Work site: Various King County facilities located throughout Washington, primarily for the Airport Division. The work performed under this Contract shall not exceed $500,000.00 and the initial Contract Time shall end 365 calendar days from the date of Contract Execution by the County. The County does not guarantee any minimum amount of work or that the dollar amount of the Work Orders issued will total $500,000.00 for the duration of this Contract. At the Countys sole discretion, this Contract may be extended by Contract Modification for an additional 365 calendar days and for an additional amount not to exceed $250,000.00. In no event shall the Contract Time be greater than two years from the date of Contract Execution by the County. The County shall review all Work Orders issued under this Contract with an estimated value equal to or greater than $150,000 to establish a specific required or aspirational level of participation by Certified Firms, Apprentices and or Priority Workers. Pre-Bid Conference: A pre-bid conference is not scheduled. A site tour is not scheduled. Subcontracting Opportunities: Fence erecting, laborers, and electrical. Apprenticeship Requirements: 3% minimum Apprentice Utilization Requirement of the total labor hours worked during the contract. SCS Utilization Requirements. 5% minimum requirement for King County Certified Small Contractors and Suppliers (SCS) for the total price of all executed Work Orders. Bid Guaranty: Not less than five percent (5%) of the Total Bid Price. |
