Description

Contractor shall furnish, maintain, repair and/or replace approved steel containers of sizes noted. The containers shall be compatible with the contractor’s pickup equipment, shall be water-tight, rodent proof and inherently fireproof. This will pertain to all contractor owned containers. The Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) is responsible for maintenance of DVA owned equipment as listed. Maintenance and repair of all contractor provided equipment as listed. Contractor is also responsible for the repair of any DVA owned equipment damaged during the performance of their resultant contract. Excluded waste streams are; Chemical, Controlled, Hazardous, Medical, Radioactive (nuclear), Recyclable, Sharps, Toxic or Regulated Medical Waste.
