Plant Roadway Betterment at Queen Lane Water Treatment Plant and Belmont Water Treatment Plant

Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidental work required to remove, replace, and/or install all paving, surfacing, and curbs. The work of this Contract includes: 1. Demolition, removal, and disposal of existing concrete and/or asphalt paving, including driveway aprons, as and where directed by the Engineer. 2. Demolition, removal, and disposal of concrete curbs, as and where directed by the Engineer. 3. Installation of new asphalt paving, as and where directed by the Engineer, including preparation of subgrade, base, binder and/or wearing courses. 4. Installation of new concrete paving, as and where directed by the Engineer, including preparation of subgrade, base course and concrete. 5. Installation of new concrete driveway aprons, as and where directed by the Engineer, including preparation of subgrade, base course and concrete. 6. Installation of new concrete curb, as and where directed by the Engineer. 7. Adjustment/resetting of all castings within the work limits. 8. Line striping and painting, as and where directed by the Engineer. 9. Installation, maintenance, removal and disposal of Erosion and Sedimentation control measures of the type and quantity needed to complete the work of the project in accordance with all local, state and federal regulations. 10. Design, installation, maintenance, and removal of any and all temporary vehicular or pedestrian traffic control devices, including permitting of any necessary roadway, shoulder or footway closures. Participation Ranges: MBE 17% - 20% and WBE 10% - 12%.
