Description | This section specifies general administrative and procedural requirements for warranties and bonds required by the Contract Documents, including manufacturers standard warranties on products and special warranties. complete the whole of the work within (720) CALENDAR days from the date of the Notice to Proceed from the Chief Engineer to commence the work. This section specifies general administrative and procedural requirements for warranties and bonds required by the Contract Documents, including manufacturers standard warranties on products and special warranties. 1.02 SUBMITTALS A. Submit written warranties to the Owner prior to the date fixed by the Engineer for Substantial Completion. If the Certificate of Substantial Completion designates a commencement date for warranties other than the date of Substantial Completion for the Work, or a designated portion of the work submit written warranties upon request of the Owner. B. When a special warranty is required to be executed by the Contractor, or the Contractor and a subcontractor, supplier or manufacturer, prepare a written document that contains appropriate terms and identification, ready for execution by the required parties. Submit a draft to the Owner for approval prior to final execution. C. At Final Completion compile two copies of each required warranty and bond properly executed by the Contractor, or by subcontractors, suppliers or manufacturers. Organize the warranty documents into an orderly sequence based on the table of contents of the Project Manual. All prospective Sellers and other interested parties are advised that access to the site will be limited to the following two (2) days at the time shown: Monday, June 12, 2023 and Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. only each day. 1. Representatives of the Water Department Design Branch will not be available to answer questions on the contract documents. 2. Each Seller must contact the Plant Manager at Load Control, Jose Abraham, at (215) 685-9591 to arrange access to the sites of work under this project. |
