Description

*As of  March 17, 2023 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline or award has not yet been established.**   For the construction of the Downtown Drainage Improvements, located on Main Street in Plymouth, New Hampshire The Engineers Opinion of Probable Construction Cost is between $2.5 million and $3.0 million Construction of stormwater infrastructure on South Main, Russell, and Warren Streets. Improvements include approximately 4,750 LF of new stormwater pipeline and associated structures. Additional work includes the reconstruction of all three roads and the installation of new sidewalks. Lighting upgrades are included for a portion of Main Street. The Project generally consists of: Construction of stormwater infrastructure on South Main, Russell, and Warren Streets. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Town of Plymouth on Mondays through Fridays between the hours 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. electronically to be considered a responsive Bidder, the Contractor shall have obtained one set of electronic plans and specifications from the Issuing Office. The Bid will not be awarded to a Bidder unless a record for the request of electronic plans and specifications exists in the office of the Engineer. To meet this requirement and to be added to the official list of plan holders, a prospective Bidder must request electronic plans and specifications using the name that is to appear in the Bid Documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities not involving price, time or changes in the Work, and to negotiate contract terms with the Successful Bidder, and the right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids. Also, Owner reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that Bidder, whether because the Bid package is non-responsive, or the Bidder is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by Owner. Discrepancies in the multiplication of units of Work and unit prices will be resolved in favor of the unit prices. Discrepancies between the indicated sum of any column of figures and the correct sum thereof will be resolved in favor of the correct sum. This project will be partially funded with Federal funds from the US Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration and therefore is subject to the Federal laws and regulations associated with that program.
