Description | Imperial Irrigation District (IID), an irrigation district established under Division 11 of the California Water Code, Sections 20500 et seq., that provides non-potable water, farm drainage and power services to the lower southeastern portion of California's desert, is requesting proposals from highly qualified Respondents to: Drill, construct and test shallow geologic exploration/test wells near the Clubhouse area on the western shore of the Salton Sea, including the following: Drilling of up to four pilot borings to depths of approximately 150 feet to characterize subsurface conditions, sample water quality, and collect data necessary for design of the test wells; Construction and development of up to three test wells; Pump testing at one selected test well; and Installation and connection of solar powered electrical pumps, controllers and solar photovoltaic (PV) panel arrays at up to three test wells. Questions concerning this Secondary Request for Proposal should be directed in writing, no later than5:00 p.m., Local Time, Tuesday, May 3, 2022 to Mr. Marty P. Holbrook, purchasing agent, via email to: purchasing@iid.com. Responses to questions received will be provided digitally for download on our website , under this solicitation listing to all participants no later than 5:00 p.m., Local Time, Thursday, May 12, 2022. Prospective respondents must be present and signed in prior to the start of the mandatory meeting. Anyone not signed in at the official start of the meeting will be considered late and will not be allowed to submit a proposal. Anyone who does not attend the entire mandatory meeting will not be credited with attending. Prospective respondents are required to wear closed toe shoes. Adequate face covering (facemask) is not required, but is recommended. Prospective respondents must be present and will have to answer the Contractor/Consultant Health Questionnaire at the meeting site and have their temperature checked. Attendees who answer "Yes" to any of the questions, or have a measured forehead temperature of 100.4 or higher will not be allowed to enter. |
