Description | work generally consists of Street Excavation, Drainage, and Erosion Control Improvements (the Project ). The Pre-Qualification Statement included in the proposal packet as required by The Colony M.U.D. 1C shall be completed in its entirety and submitted as part of the proposal. Any proposal lacking the Pre-Qualification Statement will not be considered. All questions, clarifications and requests regarding the project must be received in writing via email to Rob Hesleyrob@cbdeng.com and received no later than 12:00 p.m., October 18, 2022. Any requests received after said time and date will not be addressed. A cashier s check, certified check, or bid bond, payable to Hunt Communities Bastrop, LLC, in an amount not less than 5% of the bid must accompany each bid proposal as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will, within 10 days of the award of the contract, enter into a contract and furnish an acceptable Performance and Payment Bond. The bidder s surety will be forfeited and become the property of the Owner should the bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish Payment & Performance Bonds acceptable to the Owner within 10 days after award of the contract. A Maintenance Bond will be required in the amount of 10% of the contract and is to remain in force for a period of two years from the date of the letter of final acceptance from The Colony M.U.D. No. 1C, City of Bastrop and Bastrop County. No Proposals shall be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the opening of the bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Owner s judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project. Prevailing Wage Rates, in accordance with Government Code 2258 are applicable to this project. |
