Repair OR Replace Ef-18 Exhaust Fan

The selected vendor/contractor will provide labor, material, and equipment necessary to inspect, diagnose, repair/replace, and verify functionality of the EF-18A Exhaust Fan and related components located on the roof of Building 21. The selected vendor/contractor to provide all equipment, labor, and materials to repair/replace and verify correct functionality of EF-18A exhaust fan and dampers. The exact reason for the fan failure is unknown at this time. Contractor should verify existing conditions with a site visit to determine if the fan should be repaired or replaced. Please submit pricing after site visit. The work may include crane lifts. If the fan can be repaired, the fan will most likely need the following parts replaced: • Upper / Lower Bearings • Drive Shaft • Drive Shaft Sheave • Belts • Drive Motor • Drive Motor Sheave • Verify the dampers on both EF-18 exhaust fans are operating correctly and conduct repairs if necessary.
