Wornall Reconstruction - 75th to 79th - City of Kansas City

This project is scheduled to coordinate with the Waldo Federal Funded Project and will reconstruct the pavement, curb, gutter, and sidewalks on Wornall Road from 75th Street to 79th Street. This will include the addition of sidewalks in areas where they currently do not exist, the reconfiguration the parking lot at the northeast corner of 75th Street and Wornall Road, and will close Broadway Road. Sidewalk, transit stops, and pedestrian pads will be included, as well as a connection to the Trolley Track Trail. Recycled asphalt will be used for the pavement and additional trees will be planted. Project is Included City of Kansas City (KCMO) FY 2020-2024 CIP. As of May 1, 2020, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
