Irvona Borough Hopkins Street Bridge Replacement

Hopkins St Bridge - Preliminary Design: This part consists of the Preliminary Design for the replacement of the bridge carrying Irvona Borough's Hopkins St. (T-811) over North Witmer Run in Irvona Borough, Clearfield County. The roadway is classified as a Local Road with a current ADT is less than 200. The existing structure is a steel I-beam bridge built in 1938 and has 1 span totaling 49 feet. The speed limit is 25 mph. The method of traffic control will need to be evaluated during preliminary engineering. A temporary road is anticipated as approximately 30 residences depend on this bridge for access. Required services will include but not be limited to: Project Management/Administration/Scheduling/Meetings, Surveys, Public Involvement, Line/Grade/Typical Sections, Utility Coordination, H&H analysis, Preliminary T.S. & L Plans, Geotechnical Engineering Report and Structure Borings, Environmental Document, Waterway Permit, Final Right-of-Way Plans, Preliminary M.P. & T Plans, Design Field View Submission, and NPDES/Erosion and Sedimentation Plan preparation. Hopkins St Bridge - Final Design Review, CC&SDR: This part consists of the Final Design Review, Construction Consultation, and Shop Drawing Review for the replacement of the bridge carrying Irvona Borough's Hopkins St. (T-811) over North Witmer Run in Irvona Borough, Clearfield County as described under Part 1. Required services will include but not be limited to: Final Roadway and Also Plan Review, Final TS&L Review, Structure Foundation Report Review, Structure Plan Review, Permit Amendment Review (as necessary), Construction Consultation, and Shop Drawing Review. The ANTP for this Part is 06/01/2021.
