Professional Engineering Services for 2021-2022 NBIS Bridge Re-Evaluation Survey Program

Cape May County Bridge Commission is seeking professional engineering service proposals from consulting engineering firms to perform bridge re-evaluation surveys, load rating calculations and prepare reports of the conditions and findings of the Commission’s five (5) bridges and one (1) pedestrian fishing pier. All services shall be in conformance with the 23 CFR Part 650, National Bridges Inspection Standards (NBIS). The Commission shall only accept proposals from firms who are qualified with NJ Department of Transportation to perform bridge inspection and re-evaluation surveys. Note, 4 of the 5 Commission bridges are movable structures. The Commission does not enter into lump sum agreements for professional engineering services and therefore we respectfully request that your firm provide a proposal that breaks down the titles, labor hours, reimbursable expenses and the dollar amount requested to perform the requested services. This breakdown shall also include subconsultant and inspection support services (underwater inspection, snooper, MPT, any required testing services).
