Kinnikinnick 2023 HVAC Improvements

This project includes: The removal of existing HVAC equipment for replacement with packaged rooftop units and associated electrical work, other miscellaneous mechanical improvements, coordination of roof patching with Owners separate contractor, and interior finish work associated with new mechanical systems. Make proposals on the bid forms supplied in the Project Manual. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic proposals or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid, a certified check or acceptable bidders bond payable to Kinnikinnick CCSD No. 131 in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Performance Bond. The successful bidder is required to pay the general prevailing wage for work as ascertained by the Illinois Department of Labor, and shall submit certified payroll records, in compliance with the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130) and shall comply with all applicable Illinois statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity laws. Bids may not be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of opening bids, without the consent of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding. Site restoration as necessary to repair damage that may result from construction activities. 2. Demolition of existing roof systems for installation of new roof mounted mechanical units as identified on the Drawings. 3. Removal, salvage, and reinstallation of interior ceilings associated with new mechanical systems. 4. Demolition of mechanical and electrical fixtures and equipment as shown on the Drawings. 5. New EPDM and Built-Up Roofing Systems to tie into existing roof systems at the installation of new roof mounted mechanical units. 6. Interior renovations including ACT ceiling salvage and reinstallation, new ACT, and painting. 7. Miscellaneous lintels, and structural reinforcing of existing structure for installation of new RTUs. 8. Mechanical systems including new RTUs, make-up units, and exhaust fans. 9. Electrical systems - miscellaneous items accessory to new RTU installation and roofing system. 10. Keep Architect fully informed about progress of the work, performance of the work and potential problem
