Description

Scope includes, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, services and incidentals for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transfer Platform Dock for Parks and Recreation. Goal Participation: This solicitation is open to the general marketplace. Bid Allowance Amounts: The solicitation includes pass-thru allowances in the amount of $2,782.00. It is not necessary to add the allowance amount in your bid prices. Portal will automatically add the allowance amounts indicated to your bid total and will be reflected on final bid tabulation. This information session presents an opportunity for vendors to clarify any concerns regarding the bid requirements. The vendor is cautioned that, although the site visit is optional, no modification or any changes will be allowed in the pricing because of the failure of the vendor(s) to have visited the site. Submission of a bid will be construed that the vendor is acquainted sufficiently with the work to be performed. Broward County strongly encourages all County employees, County Contractors, and members of the public to wear facial coverings and practice social distancing while indoors on County property. When a mask is unavailable, a cloth face covering can be fashioned per guidelines using bandanas or scarfs, for instructions please refer to website. Anything worn must be conservative in appearance, not offensive, and conform to the guidance. County/State License Requirements: Proof of licensing should be returned with the Vendor's submittal. Refer to Special Instructions to Vendor Section H for additional information. Question & Answer End Date Dec 23, 2022 5:00:00 PM EST The basis for Award: Award of this contract will be made to the lowest responsive responsible bidder by total bid price (sum of all items). Questions and Answers: The County provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the requirements of the solicitation. All questions or clarification inquiries must be submitted through website by the date and time referenced in the solicitation document (including any addenda). The County will respond to all questions via website. Provide all tasks, labor, materials, and equipment needed to manufacture and install an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Canoe/Kayak Framed Transfer Launch Platform/Floating Dock at West Lake Park Public Launch to an existing floating dock. This work includes removal of all debris and materials related to this project.
