Description

This project’s work includes: (1) Painting the piping system and butterfly valve, (2) Contract inspectors and engineers to inspect butterfly valve for leakage and vibration issues. Provide the Government a quote to repair or make changes to the butterfly valve to stop the leakage and vibrations. The engineers or inspectors shall be licensed professional engineers with over 3 years of experience working with a variety of piping systems. (3) Check the alignment and overall dimension of the dogging devices on service bay #4. Test service gate #4 on service bay #4 and check for binding issues when lowering down service gate #4. Indicate if the binding issues are caused by misalignment of dogging devices or other parts of the gate slot or gate. (4) Change fasteners, add polycarbonate sheets, and paint top 30% of one service gate. Adjust the bottom seal according to field condition to reduce leakage. This job requires the gate to be tested and passed leakage requirement (7 gal per minute). Remove existing wight ballasts and rebalance service gate with new weigh ballasts
