Security System Improvements Project for the Claude H. Dyal Water Treatment Plant and Other Remote Facilities

The summary of work (WORK) includes, but is not limited to: 1.Security work, electrical work, and all other incidental work necessary to procure, install, terminate, power startup, test, and troubleshoot a new security system. 2.Demolition of the existing system, installation of a complete and functional new system, testing, training, configuration of servers/switches, application configuration, programming, screen layout, navigation, alarm management, internet protocol (IP) color cameras, lighting improvements, mechanical and physical improvements to selected gates, software licenses, and service agreement. 3. Perform any necessary modifications, repairs, hardware refurbishment or replacement to existing doors such that the doors function properly with new security equipment per the design while maintaining compliance with applicable building code(s). 4. Making network connections from the City’s existing security network to the new security control equipment and components. 5. Making electrical power connections from the City’s existing power sources to security control equipment and components. 6. Providing testing of the individual installed components and the completed system as an entire system. 7. Providing training on the operation and troubleshooting of the new security equipment and overall system. 8. Providing a list of recommended spares for the City’s consideration.
