ADA Sidewalk and Ramps Route 7 South

**As of October 12, 2023 this project will rebid but no definite date for the rebid.** BID GUARANTEE: Each Bid must be accompanied by a certified check payable to the Town of St. Albans for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid. A Bid bond may be used in lieu of a certified check. PROJECT LOCATION: Along the eastern side of Route 7 South beginning at the City/Town line at the intersection of Route 7 South and Parsons Avenue and extending South to the intersection of Route 7 South and Prospect Hill Road. TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION: Work to be performed under this project includes: Construction of new ADA sidewalk and ramps along the eastern side of Route 7 South extending between the intersections of Parsons Avenue and Prospect Hill Road. QUESTIONS: During the advertisement phase of this project all questions shall be addressed to the project Engineer via Request for Clarification (document and contact info is included in Project Manual). Any questions received after 4 pm the day of September 19th, 2023 (7 days prior to Bid Opening) may not be answered. Answers and clarifications to RFCs will be issued via Addendum and distributed to all plan holders as well as posted with the original bid documents. CONTRACT COMPLETION DATE: The Contract shall be substantially completed on or before June 28th, 2024 and shall be finally completed on or before July 12th, 2024. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
