IDIQ A/E Civil Structural NAVFAC Washington

Work associated with this IDIQ Contract includes Civil and Structural A/E services at various locations in the NAVFAC Washington region – Washington DC, MD, and VA. Work associated with this IDIQ includes Miscellaneous Civil and Structural Design & Engineering Services with associated multidisciplinal architectural and engineering support services includes various investigations, surveys, studies, design and engineering concept development, 1391 preparation, construction cost estimates, and the preparation of design and construction studies and the preparation of construction documents via the Design-Bid-Build (full plans and specifications) and Design-Build methods ready for bidding. The type of work will be primarily civil or structural in nature. Work will be associated with repairs, renovations, alterations, new construction of facilities and site improvements. Work may also include, but is not limited to, the following; preparation of studies and technical reports, hazardous material surveys for remediation projects, conducting engineering investigations, project programming, concept studies, interior design and landscape design; Project Cost Engineering (PCE) documentation; preparation of preliminary and final designs; and construction cost estimates. These may be required at any time up to final acceptance of all work associated with each delivery order. Knowledge of local codes, laws, permits and construction materials and practices of the contract area including knowledge of ATFP and Sustainability Design, LEED principles and the certification process, and energy related technologies.
