UPDATE 03 RELEASED 8/8/2022 This requirement has been cancelled at this time. The FAA values robust competition whenever possible and thanks you for your interest. SCREENING INFORMATION REQUEST (SIR) REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR ACCESS ROAD REPAIR LOCATED AT DULLES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (IAD). The FAA is seeking proposals from qualified small businesses to repair a crushed aggregate access road at Dulles International Airport in accordance with the documents attached herein. The FAA intends to award a single contract to the lowest price offeror eligible for award in accordance with the Instructions to Offerors in Section L of the SIR document. This is a 100% Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) 8(a) Set-Aside. The estimated range of this project is between $50K to $100K. Limitations on subcontracting applies. See 3.6.1-7 (LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING) in Section I of the SIR. As such, for general construction, the prime contractor or a similarly situated entity must perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees. A site visit has been scheduled for Tuesday July 12th, 2022, at 0930 (Eastern). See 3.2.2.3-63 SITE VISIT (CONSTRUCTION) (JUL 2004) on page 47 of the SIR document for POC contact info and location. RSVP required. Responses to this announcement must include the following documents: - Completed SIR Document (All highlighted areas in all sections, don't forget Section K) - Completed Organizational Experience Form - Two separate individual projects - All blocks filled in. - Each project valued at least $50K. (See Section L of SIR document for full details and instructions to offerors) Cover letters are not required, nor desired. Cover letters or statements in conveying email submissions that contain assumptions or exceptions to the technical requirement or terms and conditions of the SIR, or that contain statements which indicate proposed pricing is neither firm nor fixed or is contingent, cannot be evaluated at face value in a fair and equal competitive environment and will therefore be determined ineligible for award. It is requested offerors submit only what is being asked for by Section L of the SIR document. No more, no less. Questions about this requirement are due not later than 15 July 2022 at 5PM (Central). Proposals are due no later than 22 July 2022 at 5PM (Central). The FAA reserves the right to cancel this notice and solicitation process at any time, for any reason, and without notice.
