Lake Bowen Stormwater Outfalls Improvement

Spartanburg Water will accept proposals for the installation of five (5) Stormwater Outfall Best Management Practice (BMP) features located at various locations adjacent to Lake Bowen in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. This project is partially funded by a South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) Bureau of Water, Section 319 Nonpoint Source Program Grant. The project will include minor grading, installation of riprap and stone check dam devices and erosion control..In its sole discretion, the Spartanburg Water reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals.It is the policy of Spartanburg Water that local Minority and Women Owned Enterprises(MWBEs) shall be afforded the opportunity to participate fully in the overall procurement process of Spartanburg Water. This is an equal opportunity solicitation.The design of this project was completed by the owner's in-house design professional Submit Clarifying Questions to hmorris@spartanburgwater.org; All questions and answers will distributed to plan holders list Contractor will furnish all supervision, administration, means of transportation, services, material, equipment, tools, apparatus, skills and labor of every description necessary to carry out and complete in a good, firm, substantial and workmanlike manner the work described in item 2) below. 2) Contractor install the stormwater outfall Best Management Practice (BMP) improvements as shown on the attached Plans (Attachment A) and according to the Specifications (See Plans). The installations will include the items listed on the attached Proposal Form (Attachment B).
