Description | Project consists of stormwater improvements at the Trenton Elementary Playground. There is no Pre-Bid Conference currently scheduled. CONTRACT TYPE Bids will be based on a single lump sum general construction contract. Bids shall include not less than the Prevailing hourly wage rate determined by the Illinois Department of Labor. Contract documents may be obtained electronically from the office of FGM Architects, 475 Regency Park, Suite 325, O'Fallon, Illinois 62269. Bid Security is required in the amount of ten percent (10%) of Proposal, made payable unconditionally to the Owner. Security shall be certified check, cashier's check or bid bond issued by surety licensed to conduct business in the State of Illinois. Within ten (10) days after notification of award of contract, the successful Contractor shall furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the contract and the payment of all obligations arising thereunder using a form similar to the AIA 312 Form, or one acceptable to Owner. The Performance Bond will become a part of the Contract. The failure of the successful bidder to enter into contract and supply the required bond and Certificates of Insurance within ten (10) days after the prescribed forms are presented for signature, or within such extended period as the Owner may grant, shall constitute a default. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities and irregularities in any bid, or to make awards in the best interests of the Owner. |
