BLM-UT Escalante Shop Fire Restoration: - Walls, Floor and Ceiling: The insulation on the walls has metal sheeting on the outside of it and will not be removed. The walls, floors and ceiling shall be HEPA vacuumed and washed with chemical spray. Anything attached to walls, floors and ceilings that cannot be removed will be cleaned following the same procedure. - Doors: The insulation on the 2 bay doors has metal sheeting on the outside of it and will not to be removed. Both bay doors shall be HEPA vacuumed and washed with chemical spray on both sides. The 2 man-doors inside the shop shall be HEPA vacuumed and washed with chemical spray on all sides. The access door to the shop shall be HEPA vacuumed and washed with chemical spray on the inside only. Anything attached to the doors that cannot be removed will be cleaned following the same procedure. - Tables and Benches: Both work areas have tables or benches that shall be HEPA vacuumed and washed with chemical spray. - Power tools in Work Areas: All power tools that were not damaged by the fire shall be HEPA vacuumed and washed with chemical spray. A BLM employee will be available to help determine if a power tool does not need to be cleaned. - Toolboxes: All toolboxes in the shop will have the contents removed and the boxes will be HEPA vacuumed and washed with chemical spray.
