Removal and Replacement of Cooling Tower and Chiller Plants

SUNY Broome is seeking bids from qualified multiple prime bidders for; Mechanical Construction and Electrical Construction. The Bidders shall provide, labor, materials, equipment and associated costs to complete all work necessary on the project. The project includes Removal and replace Cooling Tower and Chiller Plant at the SUNY Broome Library and Business Buildings. Deposit Required: Each Proposal must be made upon the forms provided by the College and shall be accompanied by a deposit of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Said Deposit shall be made payable to the Broome Community College, Treasurer, shall be considered a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the Contract if it is awarded to him/her. Minimum Wage Rates shall be as determined by the New York State Department of Labor. If Deposits are mailed, they should be addressed to the purchasing office at the above address. Delivery via Federal Express, UPS, etc. can be arranged bycontacting the purchasing office and providing your Federal Express, UPS, etc. account number. Refunds will be made in accordance with Article 5-A, Section 105, Subdivision 2 of the General Municipal Law, as amended. Attention of bidders is called to the "Information for Bidders" in the Proposal, Specifications and Contract Agreements. Contract Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the words "Broome Community College Purchasing Office", the Project Title, and Contract Type, (ref: Supplementary General Conditions - 1.A.), plainly printed on the outside. Each bid must be in a separate envelope. The retention and disposal of such Cash, Certified Check or Bid Bond, by SUNY Broome, shall conform with Article 5A, Section 105 of the General Municipal Law, as amended. The successful Contractor will be required to execute the Contract and comply, in all respects, with Article 5A, Section 105 of the General Municipal Law, as amended. CONTRACTOR'S QUALIFICATION STATEMENT MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH THE PROPOSAL. The Purchasing Office reserves the right to reject any and all Bids offered.
