UAB Express Lot 1 DC Quick-Charge EV Charging Stations

As of September 06th, 2022, project has not been awarded. Since bid exceeded available funds, no contractor has been selected. Owner currently pursuing additional funding. No timeline of award was established as well. Project Number- M22-0014, DYNA-2101 Prime Contractors that are properly licensed for this type of work are required to prequalify in order to submit a bid. Applicants for Prequalification are strongly encouraged to submit applications at the earliest date possible following the first date of advertisement. UAB will review applications as submitted and notify applicants at least two (2) working days prior to the Pre-Bid Conference. Applications received after the date of the Prebid Conference may not be considered. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The project encompasses the installation of eight (8) DC quick-charge electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, with all appropriate appurtenances, as well as modifications to the layout of the UAB Express Lot 1 located at 608 8 th Street South. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: erosion and sedimentation control; asphalt and concrete demolition; sitework and fine grading; asphalt pavement; striping; concrete curbs and sidewalks; landscaping; irrigation; site lighting and electrical; and, installation of Owner-provided DC quickcharge EV charging stations using a certified EV installer
