Middlesex Turnpike Pump Station Rehabilitation and Sewer Force Main Extension Phase 2 - Sub

Filed sub bids for the trades in Item 2a, 2b, and 2c in Section 1-4A (00410) BID FORM shall be addressed to the Director of Public Works and endorsed to identify its contents and will be received at the Office of the Department of Public Works, 314 Great Road, Bedford, Massachusetts 01730 until at which time and place said sub bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. SUB BIDS Items Sub-bid Specification Section 2a, 2b, 2c Electrical 16001, 16050, 16060, 16073, 16075, 16081, 16120, 16130, 16140, 16231, 16269, 16410, 16415, 16442 The scope of work provides for renovation of the existing Middlesex Turnpike Pump Station building, rehabilitation of the existing Middlesex Turnpike sewer pump station and systems, and other related tasks in the Town of Bedford, Massachusetts. The Contract work shall be substantially completed, exclusive of final paving, by February 28, 2025. Estimate construction cost: $1,560,000.00 General Contractor's CATEGORY OF CERTIFICATION: PUMPING STATIONS The Town of Bedford reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to accept any Bid deemed by them to be in the best interest of the Town of Bedford. The award of any contract pursuant to this Invitation for Bids is subject to appropriation by Bedford Town Meeting. Questions regarding this Invitation to Bid shall be submitted in writing and shall be delivered to the Engineer by email, Carolyn Mahoney (Mahoney.Carolyn@wseinc.com) at Weston & Sampson, 55 Walkers Brook Drive, Reading, MA, 01867 by the close of business ten (10) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bids. Questions presented after this time shall not be considered. No question shall be considered which is not submitted in writing. Any questions requiring consideration shall be answered in an addendum delivered to all registered Bidders.
