Description | For North Central High School Additions and Renovations - Phase 3 Loctaion- 1801 E. 86th Street Indianapolis, IN 46240 01 - Site Demolition, Earthwork & Utilities 02 - General Trades 03 - Asphalt Paving 04 - Masonry 05 - Structural Steel 06 - Roofing 07 - Exterior Wall Panels 08 - Aluminum Entrances & Storefronts 09 - Metal Framing, Drywall & Ceilings 10 - Hard Tile 11 - Resilient Flooring 12 - Painting & Wallcoverings 13 - Specialties & Equipment 14 - Kitchen Equipment 15 - Casework & Millwork 16 - Fire Suppression 17 - Plumbing 18 - HVAC 19 - Electrical & Technology All work for the complete construction of the Project will be under one or more sub-contracts with the Construction Manager based on bids received from pre-qualified tier 1 bidders and on combinations awarded. Award of contracts will be in accordance with Indiana Public Bidding Laws. The Construction Manager will not self-perform any of the work on this project. Prequalification Forms will also be available via email, requests shall be sent to Andrew Huehls at ahuehls@skillman.com. Bid documents will be available on or after Friday, March 17, 2023. Bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidders will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds for one hundred percent (100%) of their Contract amount prior to execution of Contracts. Subcontractors submitting bids for the performance of Work as specified in this building Project should make such Bids to The Skillman Corporation. Contractors shall enter into a sub-contract with The Skillman Corporation as the Construction Manager CMc for the Owner. The Owner and the Construction Manager reserve their right to accept or reject any Bid (or combination of Bids) and to waive any irregularities in bidding. All Bids may be held for a period not to exceed 60 days before awarding contracts. The members of the School Board and leadership of the Metropolitan School District of Washington Township, Schmidt Associates, and The Skillman Corporation are all committed to ensuring the utilization of diverse suppliers on the Construction Project. The School Board passed a resolution highlighting and reinforcing the district's commitment to supplier diversity. This resolution is a part of the project documentation and emphasizes the importance in the bidding process. MBE/WBE/ DBE/ VBE businesses are highly encouraged to participate. Construction shall be in full accordance with the Bidding Documents which are on file with the Owner and Construction Manager and may be examined by prospective bidders at the following locations: Office of the Construction Manager The Skillman Corporation 3834 S. Emerson Avenue, Building A Indianapolis, IN 46203 and M.S.D. of Washington Township 8550 Woodfield Crossing Blvd. Indianapolis, IN 46240 or electronically. The school will be open during construction. The total project is between 650,00 to 750,000 square feet depending on alternates. The CMc reserves the right to extend this deadline in its sole discretion. The Prequalification Form is available for pick up by interested first tier subcontractors at The Skillman Corporations' Office. Prequalification Forms will also be available via email, requests shall be sent to Andrew Huehls at ahuehls@skillman.com. Construction is estimated to start in July 2023. Completion is expected in August 2026. Construction shall be complete within 1,096 consecutive calendar days, As of June 2, 2023, all bids have been received and contractor selection is underway. |
