Castle Hills/Roxeter Water Main Renewal

The work consists of installing 5,834 linear feet of water main, 93 water services, seven fire hydrants and associated restoration work. Neither the United States nor any of it Departments, Agencies or employees is or will be party to this invitation to bid or any resulting contract. This procurement will be subject to regulations contained in 40 CFR 33, State of Delaware wage rates for heavy construction, which will be in effect. The President s Executive Order No. 11246 as amended by Exec- utive Order No. 11375. The requirements for bidders and contrac- tors under this order will be explained at the pre-bid meeting 2. The terms and conditions of the six (6) affirmative steps outlined in 40 CFR 33.240 for procurement actions that must be carried out during the performance of the contract to assure that Minority Business Enterprises and Women s Business Enterprises are awarded a fair share of the sub agreements. 3. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any and all bids. No bidder may withdraw his\her bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
