Description

This project is a renovation of existing building and includes demolition of existing interiors and exterior skin and roof (Existing structure to remain), Structural upgrades, new insulated metal panel siding & roof, exterior storefront, interior build out with finishes and specialties to accommodate new building layout. Exterior work to include excavation, site concrete, asphalt paving, and landscape for new parking lot. Right of way work includes city sidewalk, curb, and asphalt patching. The project is located at 18595 Portland Avenue, Gladstone, OR 97027. The scope of work for this solicitation includes all activities as defined in bid documents and Cost Proposal forms prepared by P&C for BID PACKAGE TWO (2) only. The scope of work for this solicitation includes only the following Divisions: Division 01- Surveying, Division 02 - Selective Demo / Abatement, Division 03 - Cast-In-Place Concrete / Polished Concrete, Division 05 - Structural Steel Framing / Metal Fabrication, Division 06 -Interior Architectural Woodwork, Division 07 - Metal wall panel/Metal Roof Panels/Sheet metal flashing and Trims, Division 08 - Doors Frames and Hardware/Overhead doors/Aluminum Framed Storefronts & glazing, Division 09 - Non-Structural Metal Framing / Gypsum Board / ACT Systems / Ceramic Tiling / Resilient Base and Accessories / Resilient Tile Flooring / Interior Paint/Interior Specialties/Metal lockers and Benches, Division 11- Appliances, Division 12 - Window Shades, Division 31 - Earthwork & Utilities, Division 32- Asphalt Paving/Pavement Markings/Fences & Gates/Irrigation & Landscaping Bidders must complete and submit with their response the appropriate Cost Proposal Form included in the package of documents for this solicitation. Questions regarding this solicitation shall be in writing and directed to Derrick Dingman via email at ddingman@builtbypandc.com. Failure to do so, or to submit an incomplete bid, will likely cause bid to be deemed non-responsive and thus rejected. All bidders must clearly outline their ability, capacity, and associated cost to furnish payment and performance bonds covering the faithful performance of the subcontract and the payment for all obligations arising hereunder. P&C reserves the right to consider in the evaluation the ability of bidder to provide payment and performance bonds, the associated cost of payment and performance bonds, and the current financial resources of the bidder. This project is a prevailing wage project in accordance with Oregon Revised Statutes 279C.800-870. All bidders must be registered with the Construction Contractors Board at the time of submission of their bids and carry all licensing and bonding required for a public project in the State of Oregon. P&C reserves the right to: reject any and all bids; reject any bid not in compliance with the solicitation procedures and requirements; reject for good cause any bid that would be in the publics best interest to do so; and waive minor irregularities in any or all bid responses. P&C will evaluate all bids received and select the firms that provide the most overall value to the Owner for each area of work included in this Bid Package. There will be no public opening of the bids received or announcement by P&C of selected firms until such a time after a selection has been made by the project team.
