| Description | In general, the work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals for construction of the following work: The project consists of addition and replacement of HVAC equipment including associated electrical work, controls and appurtenances at the Easterly WWTC, Westerly WWTC, Southerly WWTC, GJM, and EMSC. - The work generally consists of the following major elements: oReplacement and upgrades of 16 air handling units o 3 new steam to hot glycol heat exchangers o Replacement and upgrade of 2 combustion air units o Replacement and upgrade of 18 exhaust fans o Replacement and upgrade of 1 air rotation unit o Replacement and upgrade of 4 DX split systems o Replacement and upgrade of 5 rooftop units o Replacement and upgrade of 1 heat recovery unit o Replacement and upgrade of 2 natural gas infrared heaters o Replacement and upgrade of 2 natural gas duct heaters o Replacement and upgrade of 1500' of underground steam and condensate piping serving Easterly Chemical and Effluent Buildings o Replacement and upgrade of 24 VAV hot water control valves Refer to the contract documents and the Summary of work spec 01 11 00 for further description. |
