Description

Contractor shall provide, furnish, maintain, repair and/or replace approved steel containers of the sizes 40 yards (5-8yd dumpsters). FNC also requires one 15 yd. (1-15yd roll off dumpster) which is to be switched out at a minimum of once a quarter FNC will also require 240 yards (6-40 yd dumpsters) in the January timeframe for disposal of wreaths, along with the terms and conditions as stated below for the Florida National Cemetery at 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL for period 1 December 2020 through November 30, 2021 (base period) and for four optional years, if exercised. The containers shall be compatible with the contractor’s pickup equipment, shall be watertight, rodent proof and inherently fireproof. This will pertain to all contractor-owned containers. Contractor shall also provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, labor, vehicles, transportation and applicable licenses and permits necessary to ensure pick-up removal and disposal of debris services are performed at the Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513. Contractors is to provide containers to hold forty (40) yards of trash on cemetery grounds (as designated by FNC Foreman). Containers will be used for the disposal of flowers from gravesites, including wires, and plastic devices for their display. The containers will also be used for the disposal of cardboard and household waste and office waste. Pickup of trash will be once weekly between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm at which time replacement empty container(s) will be provided. If during time of pickup any leakage or spillage will be cleaned up immediately by the contractor. Contractor will also supply six-40 yd. roll off dumpster during the month of January approximately the 3rd week of January, cemetery to call and scheduled delivery and pick-up of 40 yd. dumpsters. Dumpster will be used to dispose of wreaths to include wire frames. Contractor will also supply one -15 yd. roll off dumpster, which is to be switched out at a minimum of once a quarter, cemetery will call for switch out time, dumpster is to used to dispose of broken marble and granite markers. Additional pickups may be needed throughout the year, such as after a special occasion, emergency or holiday (i.e. Memorial Day, Veterans Day etc.) as required. This is in addition to the usual scheduled pickups and at no additional charge. Cemetery personnel will call when this service is required (estimate occurrence is 5 times per year).
