Hopkins Library Preservation Refurbishment

The project includes three primary work scopes: 1) replacement of the existing building roof assembly; 2) replacement of the existing roof-top air conditioning unit, with associated airhandling unit coils; 3) the replacement of the existing parking lot. The county will close the Library for the duration of the construction. It is the county’s goal that all work be done expeditiously, to minimize the length of time that the library must be closed. The work is anticipated to occur generally in the third quarter of 2021, but must be completed in 2021.
