Q & A end date : 5/13/2022 4:00:00 PM CST The City of San Antonio (City), Public Works Department (PW) is issuing a Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals (RFCSP) for qualified firms (Respondents) to provide construction services for the South Alamo Street (Market Street to Cesar Chavez Boulevard Project (Project), a 2017 Bond Program project. The project is in downtown San Antonio and located between Market Street and Cesar Chavez Boulevard. "The Project consists of street improvements which will include roadway reconstruction, drainage, traffic signals, pedestrian lighting, and landscaping; upgrades to San Antonio Water System (SAWS) water, sewer and chilled water mains and City Public Service (CPS) gas; as well as utility main extensions and services for adjacent P3 commercial project including but not limited to domestic water, fire-lines, wastewater, natural gas, electric, and telecommunications. The contract award for this project is tentatively scheduled for City Council consideration in September 2022. Construction is estimated to be completed in May 2025." Calendar Days: Respondent understands and agrees that this is a 731-calendar day contract. Construction Cost Estimate: The estimated cost of construction is $15,400,000.00.
