2021 Village of Footville Street Projects

The work for which bids are asked includes the following: The Village of Footville plans to have Old HWY 11, from the bridge over Bass Creek to the intersection with Depot Street and Railroad Street. Planned improvements include pulverizing the existing roadway, installation of a new asphalt pavement surface, shouldering, installation of curb and gutter, ditch cleaning, culvert replacements and restoration of disturbed areas. Additionally, the Village has two other potential project areas as bid alternatives. Bid Alternate #1 features work done on Railroad Street, approximately from the intersection of Railroad Street with South Street to the intersection with Gilbert Street. Planned improvements for Bid Alternative #1 will include select areas of pavement removal and base replacement, cleaning of an existing storm structure and regarding the surrounding area to drain properly, asphalt wedging along the south edge of the existing roadway to provide width, an asphalt overlay of the wedge and existing roadway and shouldering. Bid Alternative #2 includes asphalt pavement removal on Century Lane, from the intersection with Edward Street heading east approximately 400 LF. Work included under Bid Alternative #2 is to include pavement removal, base replacement and regrading as disturbed during removal, undistributed curb and gutter replacement as designated by the Village and installation of new asphalt pavement
