| Description | This sale is a clearcut of approximately 178 acres of sand pine and hardwoods from Taylor Correctional Institution located in Taylor County, Florida. The sale area includes approximately 76 acres of previously thinned sand pine and 102 acres of natural sand pine and hardwoods. The successful bidder will be required to use a chipper or grinder for utilization of tops and other non-merchantable stems. This sale areas must be kept free from large logging debris and piles of non-merchantable material. Numerous paved roads throughout the sale area will require multiple loading locations. Sale boundaries include roads, firelines, fences, timber type changes or flagged lines. There are no estimates of volumes of timber to be removed. |
