Description | The location needs a qualified local contractor to provide labor, supervision, equipment and supplies/materials necessary to accomplish parking lot sealing and traffic markings for the USDA-ARS-PWA DANIEL K. INOUYE U.S. PAC BASIN 64 NOWELO STREET Hilo HI 96720 at two locations: 64 Nowelo St Hilo HI and 928 Stainback Highway Hilo HI. This project will provide for the asphalt sealing of approximately 48,000 square feet of parking lot and re-striping of traffic markings of 87 vehicle parking slots and five handicap stalls.The contractor shall maintain the surrounding grounds and facility buildings and will be liable for any damage caused to these grounds and facility buildings due to negligence by contractor employees. The magnituded of this project is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000.00. this will be awarded on a firm-fixed price basis This will be a Total Small Business Set-Aside NAICS: 237310 Asphalt Paving PSC: Y1LB - Construction of Highways, Roads, Streets, Bridges and Railways Small Business Size: $45M Information concerning the REE policies and procedures regarding the definitization of equitable adjustments for change orders under construction contracts and the time required for definitization of those actions per 15 U.S.C. 644 is available . The RFQ will be accessible via in the "Contracting Opportunities" section. Potential Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the RFQ package and any amendments. All offerors shall be registered with the System for Award Management Registration per FAR Clause 52.204-7 and 52.204-8. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed and telephone requests will not be honored. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
