Description

Project No: 82634 Goals for minority participation for each trade: 5.6% Goals for female participation in each trade: 6.9% The questions should be delivered to Mr. Ryan McCroskey, Woolpert, Inc., at the Pre-Bid Conference, or emailed to ryan.mccroskey@woolpert.com. If a Bidder finds discrepancies in, or omissions from, the Contract Documents, or if he is in doubt as to their meaning, he shall at once notify the Engineer in writing. Such notification must be made at least seven (7) consecutive calendar days prior to the bid date using the attached form. The Division A Base Bid consists of paving and marking for Taxiways B & C, and southern half of parallel Taxiway A. Work consists of, but is not limited to, unclassified excavation, temporary soil erosion control, installation of concrete encased electrical duct banks, removal of existing electrical homerun cables, installation of new electrical homerun cables, installation of crushed aggregate base course, installation of asphalt pavement layers, placement of taxiway markings, seeding, topsoiling, and mulching. The Division A Additive Bid consists of paving and marking for the northern half of parallel Taxiway A. Work consists of, but is not limited to, unclassified excavation, temporary soil erosion control, installation of concrete encased electrical duct banks, installation of crushed aggregate base course, installation of asphalt pavement layers, placement of taxiway markings, seeding, topsoiling, and mulching. The Contract Documents including the Construction Plans, Specifications and Bid Proposal are to be on file at the Lawrence County Board of Aviation Commissioners, and at the office of Woolpert, Inc., 333 North Alabama Street, Suite 200; Indianapolis, Indiana, 46202 beginning May 19, 2023. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Lawrence County Board of Aviation Commissioners or a satisfactory bid bond, executed by the Bidder and an approved surety company in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid. Goals for minority participation for each trade: 5.6% Goals for female participation in each trade: 6.9% No Bidder may withdraw its bid after the bid has been opened. The Lawrence County Board of Aviation Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informality in bidding and to reject any and all bids
