| Description | Remove old roof. Replace with 35-year shingles. Ice and snow guard in valleys and lower perimeter to code. New water barrier the rest of roof and install roof vents. Replace all roof penetration’s with new flashings as well as new flashings around brick chimney. New 2” roof edge. Permit is required. Rehang gutters with proper hangers. Replace lower front porch gutter and downs with new. Reuse downs that are in good shape and replace any downs not in a working order. Replace both outside support posts on the front porch and wrap with new 1x6’s that carry roof load. Replace half posts on lower steps with new support end posts. Reattach handrails to the new posts. This work will require a permit. |
