Description This project consists of replacing the existing seven-span reinforced concrete vehicular bridge over the Indiana and Ohio Railway with a new three-span precast, prestressed concrete box beam bridge with a concrete deck, sidewalks, and parapet railings, supported on new reinforced concrete abutments and piers. Work tasks involve bridge demolition, clearing and grubbing, excavation, concrete drilled shafts, footers, and walls, embankment, pavement replacement, curb, sidewalk, and driveway replacement, pavement planing, asphalt base, leveling, and surface courses, full depth pavement repairs, inlet construction, sanitary sewer repairs, pavement markings, curbside signage installation, and highway lighting.
