Description | Work includes the reconstruction of existing storm drain pipelines through installation of a resin-impregnated fiberglass material liner which when cured shall extend the full length of the original pipe and provide a structurally sound, smooth, joint less and watertight pipe. The resin shall be cured using ultraviolet light within the tube. The CIPP will be continuous and tight fitting. A pre and final television inspection of each lined pipe system shall be provided by the Contractor. Performance and Payment bonds will be required with the Contract. Each bond shall be in the full amount of the contract sum. No bid bond is required. Prevailing wages for all work performed pursuant to each work authorization must be the prevailing wage rates in effect at the beginning date for each contract year. Unit priced contracts shall have prevailing wage rates updated annually The contract will last one (1) year, 365 calendar days, from the official contract award date, which is the date the Port of Seattle signs the Agreement, or until the contract amount is depleted, whichever comes first. This contract contains an option to extend the contract time up to 12 months beyond the original contract completion date. The Port reserves the right to cancel its Intent to Award of any Contract at any time before the execution of said Contract by all parties without liability to the Port. The Port reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality, to accept any alternate bids, and to make such award that it deems to be in its best interest and pursuant to the terms of the General Conditions. Contract time extends from Execution of the contract through Completion as defined in the General Conditions. |
