BID EVENT 01B: CATEGORY DESCRIPTION Bid Due Date extension for 31-03: CUP Loop & Waterlines ONLY Construct approximately 4,000 beds in a combination of maximum, medium and minimum security with facilities for administrative functions, program services, security, medical, food services, recreational and facilities management. Build Westville is a joint venture between F.A. Wilhelm Construction, Granger Construction, and Garmong Construction Services. *Please note that you need to confirm your intent in EACH category. As a reminder, if you intend to submit a bid directly to Build Westville you must be able to perform the entire scope of work for that category/package. *Addendum 05 has now been released. All current open RFIs are still being reviewed and will be answered in an upcoming addendum. Please continue to submit all questions and RFIs. *REMINDER: Pre-Bid RFIs Due 6/13 *As of June 16, 2023, Addendum 06 has now been posted. The Bid Due Date of 6/22 is postponed. An upcoming addendum will be released next week that will include a revised Bid Due Date and Pre-Bid RFI Due Date. All current open Pre-Bid RFIs are still being reviewed and will be answered in an upcoming addendum. Q: Going through the Addendum #8 documents, I came across sheet C301S. Is this temporary power work part of Bid Package 01B that bids next week- A: No, the temporary power scope of work is not included in this Bid Event. Q: RFI #191 & RFI 194 is asking the same question, however the answer is different, which is the correct answer. Will the top of the 6" stone base be installed with top of stone at -6" or -12" from finished grades shown on the plans- A: Please disregard the answer to Pre-Bid RFI #191, the answer to Pre-Bid RFI #194 is correct. Q: Bid Category 31-01 Earthwork, Storm, Sanitary and Temp Fencing Scope of work page 2 of 5 indicates we are to install & remove service paths, laydown and staging areas, however RFI #180 indicates removal of sub parking, staging areas and service path will be removed by the site finishes package. Are we to include removal or will it be by others- A: Pre-Bid RFI #180 is correct, the removal of these areas is not to be included in the scope of work for this Bid Event. Q: In addendum #8, a new site logistics plan was issued with a revised service path that is approximately 7880' x 32' and the scope of work states to include 3200' x 50' for the service path, which do you want included in our bid- A: The Site Logistics Plan is provided for reference only. The scope of work dictates the dimensions for the service path and laydown areas. *Addendum 09 *Bid Date Extension for 31-03 ONLY
