Scope of Work: The Windows are in fair shape, but existing caulking, seals, rubber, and adhesives have reached their expected lifespan and will need to be removed. The desired results will re-seal any gaps and extend the life of the existing windows. The Pre – proposal meeting is scheduled in order to point out the windows that need work. The County would like to receive two cost options 1. Cost for the selected windows 2. Cost for all the windows. Requirement of the contractor: Windows are to be removed and inspected. Old caulking, adhesives, rubbers and sealers to be removed. 15 year min warranty- Higher warranty will be scored accordingly. Windows to be reinstalled properly using high grade sealers and perimeters. Suggested work shall not intrude on the aesthetics of the building exterior or interior. The proposed products used for re-install must be of high quality with a strong warranty. Detailed scope with documentation to be provided on suggested work to be performed with product specs with warranty information. Main entrance is excluded due to no visible repairs needed. The County believes that the window frames and flashings are adequate. Contractor is responsible for all equipment, labor and material necessary for installation. No equipment, material or personnel shall be provided by Catoosa County.
