Description

This project includes equalization basin improvements at the City of Sherman Post Oak Wastewater Treatment Plant. The project consists of replacing three (3) sluice gates with electrically actuated slide gates at the fine screens unit, replace joint material and concrete paving at equalization basin, electrically actuate one (1) existing slide gate at aeration basin and electrically actuate three (3) existing telescoping valves and three (3) existing slide gates at the clarifier control station. All questions must be submitted in writing through the CivCast website prior to seventy two (72) hours before the bid opening. Bidders must submit a cashier's check, certified check, or acceptable bidder's bond with their proposal as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract for the project with the Owner within fifteen (15) days of Notice of Award of the contract. The security must be payable to the Greater Texoma Utility Authority on behalf of the City of Sherman in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid submitted. Contractor must execute the contract, bonds and certificates of insurance on the forms provided in the Contract Documents.Performance and Payment Bonds are required, each in an amount of not less than one-hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the contract and upon payment of all persons supplying labor or furnishing materials. Greater Texoma Utility Authority on behalf of the City of Sherman reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous interpretation of the bids submitted in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, to reject any or all bids, and/or waive formalities. Bids may not be withdrawn within sixty (60) days from date on which bids are opened.
