One (1) toilet room expansion and conversion to ADA Accessible Staff toilet room next to Faculty Lounge. 2. Demolition of plumbing fixtures and finishes in (12) bathroom and conversion of this bathrooms into storage rooms. 3. Flooring replacement in Classrooms, Corridors and support spaces. 4. Ceiling replacement and lighting upgrades; installation of new lighting controls. 5. Installation of new built-in closets with sliding doors and shelving. 6. New wall finishes in the classrooms and corridors. 7. Includes roof replacement of entire roof, roof edge replacements and new roof curb installation for various equipment. 8. Various mechanical upgrades and HVAC equipment installation The scope of work also includes coordination between all trades performing various interior renovations, roof replacement, and mechanical upgrades being done under same contract. All bidders must use and complete all bid forms and must comply with every requirement contained in the instructions and specifications Every bid must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00. All bidders and their subcontractors shall be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, N.J. S.A. 34: 11-56.48 et seq. All bids must be accompanied by a Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act as to the Bidder and all subcontractors. All bids must be accompanied by a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue. The Bidder must include with its bid its own Business Registration Certificate and that of all subcontractors. All contractors and subcontractors engaged by the Board to work on this project shall agree to be bound by the terms of a Grant Agreement issued by the SDA, which, if applicable, will be available for inspection at the Board omce during business hours. No bidder who is on the State Treasurer's or the Federal Government's List of Debarred, Suspended or Disqualified Bidders shall be eligible to bid on this project. PLEASE NOTE that the Board will not award the contract to a bidder unless the bidder enters into a Project Labor Agreement with the Bergen County Building Trades Council in the form set forth in the bid specifications, in accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:38-5 The last day for questions shall be on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. Addenda will be issued no later than Monday, December 5, 2022. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty days from the opening of the bids. The River Vale Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any minor informality in the bidding process in accordance with the law if it is in the best interest of the Board of Education.
